It is a matter of great pleasure for me that our college has been chosen to touch the paradigms of higher education. Established in the foothills of the Himalayas, beside the sacred Saryu river, the college has been running continuously since 2005. The college aims to provide quality education to students and empower them so that they can be financially independent, socially conscious, morally upright and emotionally balance. Presently the college has faculty of Arts , in which Hindi, Sanskrit, English, Drawing & Painting, Home Science, Economics, History, Political Science, Education and Sociology ,a total of 10 subjects are being taught at graduation level and Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Home Science and Drawing & Painting are being taught at post graduation level . Efforts are being made to begin Post Graduation in all subjects and Faculty of science so that multidisciplinary approach under NEP 2020 can be achieved effectively. Presently 10 regular teachers and 8 guest faculties are engaged in teaching. All these faculty members are always devotively engaged to impart quality education to the students. Co-curricular activities like N.S.S, N.C.C., sports, cultural & dramatics , career counseling cell etc. are providing enough opportunities for personality development to the students . The Study centre of Uttarakhand Open University is also running in our college. EDUSAT device has also being installed at college by the courtesy of RUSA.I am optimistic and very much pleased to be associated with this college and I am sure it will achieve new heights in future.
