About Us
Swargiy Chandra Singh Shahi Government P.G. College Kapkote was established on 5th November 2005. The college was affiliated to Kumaun University, Nainital from 1, July 2006 to July 2020 and got affiliated to Soban Singh Jeena University, Almora in July 2020. The college is recognized by University Grants Commission under 2-F. The college follows the policies and rules of Uttarakhand state Government and Soban Singh Jeena University,Almora for Admission, Teaching- Learning Schedule, Syllabus, Academic/Co-curricular activities and examination.
From Principal Desk
It is a matter of great pleasure for me that our college has been chosen to touch the paradigms of higher education. Established in the foothills of the Himalayas, beside the sacred Saryu river, the college has been running continuously since 2005. The college aims to provide quality education to students and empower them so that they can be financially independent, socially conscious, morally upright and emotionally balance.

This cluster of e-Granthalaya is dedicated to computerization of govt. colleges in the state in order to provide various e-library services to the students and faculties. This cluster provides access of digital library services to library members using MOPAC-Mobile Responsive OPAC and e- Granthalaya Mobile App.
